Project funding
The Leicester Jewish Memories Project was funded by Heritage Lottery Fund. The HLF grants programme focuses on conservation, participation in heritage, and opportunities to learn about heritage.

Project Management
The Leicester Jewish Memories Project was managed by Writing School Leicester Ltd, based at the Leicester Adult Education College, Wellington Street, Leicester, LE1 6HL. The Writing School is a not-for-profit company with long experience of employing professional writers to support new writing through delivery of courses and projects.

Editing Support
George Ballentyne is a professionally trained editor with 20 years experience of working with all sorts of texts from new and aspiring writers. He is Equality and Diversity Training Officer for the Leicester Council of Faiths.

Cartoons
Mickey Wright, originally from Leicester and now based in Rutland, is a professional artist specialising in caricatures and cartoons. He has produced work for ITV, The Mirror Group, Microsoft, Harrods, Manchester United, Leicester City and Leicester Tigers amongst others.

Lead Facilitator
Writer and teacher Rosalind Adam has lived and worked in Leicester all her life. She has had numerous short stories and articles published in a range of magazines. Bathtime Rap, a children’s picture book was published in 2008 by Franklin Watts. She is at present working on a children’s novel.

Workshop Leader
Miriam Halahmy, is a novelist, short story writer, reviewer and poet. She has worked on projects with the Refugee Council, Cancerbackup and the BBC. Her creative writing workshops in North London include a memoir workshop for Jewish Book Week 2009. She is writing a cycle of 3 novels for young adults.
Photography
Additional photography for the book and website was provided press photographer Glen Tillyard. He worked closely with the contributors and offered his technical expertise and advice so that the community could include their own images.
